Teledyne FLIR - Payload Development Kit (PDK)

The Payload Development Kit (PDK) further extends payload development to end-users, enabling the rapid development of other mission-specific payloads. The PDK provides a full set of payload development tools for electrical, mechanical, and software integration. Designed to address the needs of the FLIR UAS development community the Payload Rapid Prototyping Kit, provides all the hardware necessary to support payload and sensor integrations using the FLIR PDK. The kit contains a PCB with exposed headers for simple prototyping and integration. Easily interface your ethernet, serial, USB or other devices to access aircraft data and telemetry or push your own data over the secure system datalink. Included mounting hardware is designed to securely connect the PCB to the aircraft while providing easy mounting points for processors, sensors and accessories, to get you from bench test to flight test quickly and easily. Helping developers get to final design in record time, the Kit also includes the CAD files and schematics you require to turn your prototype into a full-fledged payload. Sensor data and power from the aircraft remove the need for developers to integrate batteries, GPS or other sensors in their payload by providing access to services onboard the aircraft.
