The identiFINDER R300 is the world's first spectroscopic pager-sized radiation instrument, worn on a belt similar to a personal radiation detector (PRD). This spectroscopic personal radiation device (SPRD) detects, measures, locates, identifies and classifies radioactive materials (gamma and neutron) with high resolution and facilitates expedited threat response with a simple two button user interface. The operator receives rapid visible, audible and tactile alerts on the easy-to-read color display. The lightweight system (<1 lb) boasts a 24 hour battery life and also contains on-board Bluetooth, web server and GPS technologies.
