Teledyne FLIR - Advanced Dual Universal Night Sight Tactical (ADUNS-T)

The Advanced Dual Universal Night Sight^TM Tactical (ADUNS-T^TM) is a patented, permanently aligned, clip-on, optically fused thermal and image intensified night vision weapon sight that mounts on any MIL-STD-1913 rail interface forward of an existing dayscope. This combination of an intensified image and thermal overlay increases the operator's ability to acquire and track targets in smoke, haze, light foliage, and total darkness. The ADUNS-T^TM provides the operator the entire IR field of view for improved search and acquisition of thermally active targets. The ADUNS-T^TM also features the ability to toggle between thermal image modes including white or black hot, edge detection, and blended thermal image. The unit is installed, operated, and removed without tools and without affecting boresight (permanent boresight alignment). The unit can be mounted on a spotting scope for reconnaissance, hand-held as a Night Observation Device (NOD), or used in other night-time operations requiring night vision capabilities. Optimized for tactical weapons including the M4, M16, HK416 and the AK47.
