QinetiQ - TASK Radiosonde

QinetiQ North America's TASK™ Radiosonde is the world's lightest radiosonde, weighing in at only 38 grams (1.5 oz). The TASK Radiosonde collects and broadcasts high resolution pressure, temperature, humidity, and winds aloft data in real-time as it ascends through the air column. The data is relayed back to the TASK ground station transceiver enabling forward deployed units to report real-time atmospheric conditions either by voice or net-centric data transmission to any users requiring the information. The data can also be imported into standard weather forecasting software to produce tactical weather reports for mission planning and modeling.
