NPDD
INERT — Training
The Inert NPDD produces the system's 175+ dB acoustic output without any active chemical payload. Designed for training and familiarization, it allows operators to conduct realistic deployment drills while avoiding exposure to active agents.
High Bang is a sound-only configuration designed to maximize auditory disorientation. With no chemical or secondary payload, it concentrates the NPDD's effect on its 175+ dB acoustic signature, making it ideal when sound alone is the primary tactical objective.
The Smoke configuration combines the NPDD's 175+ dB acoustic effect with a smoke payload, producing simultaneous auditory disorientation and visual obscuration. It provides operators with an additional concealment capability for entry, movement, and other tactical applications.
P2 PAVA — Chemical
P2 combines the NPDD's acoustic diversionary effect with a 2% PAVA powder payload. Designed as a standard chemical-agent configuration, P2 provides an additional irritant effect alongside the device's 175+ dB acoustic output.
P5 increases the PAVA concentration to 5%, providing a higher-potency chemical payload for more demanding operational environments. It combines enhanced irritant effectiveness with the NPDD's powerful acoustic diversionary capability.
C10 is the NPDD's highest-potency chemical configuration, containing 10% capsaicin with a rating of approximately 16 million SHU. It is designed for applications requiring maximum irritant effect in combination with the NPDD's 175+ dB acoustic output.
