ERA-50 Projectiles
PavaShot's ERA-50 (Extended Range Ammunition) is a .68 caliber less-lethal projectile system engineered for extended-range accuracy, aerodynamic stability, and consistent performance. When paired with the EMC 200, ERA-50 maintains accuracy within approximately 6 inches at distances up to 50 yards.
Its fin-stabilized aerodynamic design provides a predictable flight path throughout its effective range, while the projectile's 2.5-gram payload capacity supports both training and active-agent configurations.
ERA-50 is available in Inert, P5 PAVA, and C5 Capsaicin variants, allowing agencies to train and deploy using the same projectile platform.
The Inert ERA-50 contains no active agent and is designed specifically for training, qualification, and operator familiarization. It maintains the same size, weight, and aerodynamic profile as operational ERA-50 projectiles, allowing personnel to practice with realistic flight characteristics without deploying an active chemical agent.
The P5 ERA-50 contains 5% PAVA with a rating of approximately 9.5 million SHU. Its fin-stabilized design maintains extended-range accuracy while delivering a high-potency irritant payload for operational use.
When paired with the EMC 200, the P5 ERA-50 maintains accuracy within approximately 6 inches at 50 yards and provides a payload dispersion radius of approximately 2 meters.
C5 ERA-50 — Most Powerful
The C5 ERA-50 contains 5% capsaicin with a rating of approximately 16 million SHU, making it the most potent ERA-50 chemical-agent configuration. It combines maximum irritant potency with the projectile's fin-stabilized extended-range design for applications requiring a stronger sensory effect.
The C5 maintains the same extended-range aerodynamic characteristics of the ERA-50 platform while providing an approximate 2-meter payload dispersion radius.
