BASE is adjustable to most torsos and effectively transfers the weight of the armor and kit from the shoulders to the hips and legs. Installation is simple and quick. Just attach the BASE panel to the MOLLE on your plate carrier, and then adjust the frame to fit your torso.
The largest of the Operator Pack series packs is the Extended Range Operator Pack. It's large size and extensive list of features make it essential for longer missions. The large main compartment is lined with six additional pockets for organization of smaller items as well as a full length heavy-duty zipper that can allow the pack to be accessed from the top or from the side like a duffle bag. The top of the bag includes a smaller storage pocket for items you need to access quickly with external bungee system to secure lightweight clothing articles. The outside of the pack is covered with modular webbing for attaching additional modular pouches or our smaller Removable Operator Pack. You will also find double padded shoulder straps with load-lifters for comfort and weight distribution, an aluminum and HDPE internal frame for rigidity and an external hydration pocket with covered drinking tube ports. Other features include six compression straps, large waist belt, sternum strap and hidden VS-17 style marker panel for emergency identification.
