The Osprey payload for the SkyRanger R70*and R80D SkyRaider provides a simple, flexible and reliable way to attach and carry almost any object weighing up to 2 kg (4.4 lbs). The Osprey kit comes with a variety of mounting brackets to provide a secure restraint for objects of varying sizes. Transport mission-critical equipment or devices, when you need it most. Adjusts for variabilities in mass, volume and center of gravity, avoiding any need to reconfigure the aircraft or change software settings. The Payload Development Kit (PDK) further extends payload development to end-users, enabling the rapid development of other mission-specific payloads. The PDK provides a full set of payload development tools for electrical, mechanical, and software integration. Designed to address the needs of the FLIR UAS development community the Payload Rapid Prototyping Kit, provides all the hardware necessary to support payload and sensor integrations using the FLIR PDK. The kit contains a PCB with exposed headers for simple prototyping and integration. Easily interface your ethernet, serial, USB or other devices to access aircraft data and telemetry or push your own data over the secure system datalink. Included mounting hardware is designed to securely connect the PCB to the aircraft while providing easy mounting points for processors, sensors and accessories, to get you from bench test to flight test quickly and easily. Helping developers get to final design in record time, the Kit also includes the CAD files and schematics you require to turn your prototype into a full-fledged payload. Sensor data and power from the aircraft remove the need for developers to integrate batteries, GPS or other sensors in their payload by providing access to services onboard the aircraft.

The SkyRanger R70* and SkyRaider R80D Tether Kit enables continuous operation of the aircraft and attached payloads in support of multiple mission sets. The Tether Kit consists of a detachable harness/power converter, battery replacement modules, and interfaces with off-the-shelf ground stations. Should a loss of tether power occur, the system will warn the operator and continue to fly on internal batteries until a low-power condition triggers either an automatic descent to a safe AGL altitude or a safe auto-land. Highly transportable, the Tether Kit is designed for use in austere environments.
