The AN/VRC-111 20 Watt Vehicle Adapter Amplifier (VAA) is a COTS/NDI, electrical and mechanical fixture combining the functionality of the battle-proven AN/PRC-148 Multiband Inter/Intra Team Radio (all MBITR and JEM configurations) and Vehicle Adapter into a system that offers an alternative to existing SINCGARS vehicular installations. The AN/VRC-111 20 Watt VAA consists of two AN/PRC-148 radios, two Vehicle Adapters, and an electrical/mechanical interface tray that facilitates direct installation into military vehicles outfitted with SINCGARS Installation Kits (IKs) utilizing Mounting Base MT-6352. The 20 Watt VAA, when installed in combination with a SINCGARS IK, enables power amplified (20 Watt per Vehicle Adapter), co-site filtered, SINCGARS performance as well as operation with the SINCGARS IKs audio devices and vehicular intercom systems such as the VIC-3. Rapid, cable-free radio dismount in less than 2 seconds is enabled with single push-button action. Capability beyond basic SINCGARS functionality is available through replacement of the standard antenna provided in the SINCGARS IK with a readily available COTS, 30-512 MHz broadband antenna. The VAA is rugged, constructed to withstand harsh weather conditions and ballistic shock. FEATURES:

Thales - ClearConnect Vehicle Package (C2VP) is a low-risk data communications solution that interfaces with robotic air, ground, and water-borne vehicles to generate and distribute critical, real-time assured communications across infantry platoons and leadership for fast, reliable decision-making that reduces risk to soldiers and improves mission effectiveness. C2VP also features technology insertions that demonstrate the ability to host robotic Artificial Intelligence (AI) Virtual Machines (VMs); onboard encoding and transcoding technology to move streaming video through the network; a user interface and network health API; and an LPI/LPD transport layer. These insertions will add valuable combat multipliers to the data/communications architecture, moving the system of systems architecture in support of the dismounted infantry platoon. The best way to increase the lethality, mobility, protection, situational awareness (SA), endurance, persistence, and depth of the dismounted infantry platoons is to implement the necessary data/communication architecture on robotic platforms, and enable their sensor packages to integrate with and transport data/communications that survey and report on areas of interest. This reliable, real-time data will reduce risk to the soldier and provide a force multiplier to combat operations. With both LOS and BLOS, Network CFT-based Integrated Tactical Network (ITN) solutions, Thales provides an architecture that can support the infantry platoon across all operational environments, and mitigate terrain features with the ability to leverage the tactical LOS network and BLOS transport layers.

The PRC6809 Non-Type 1 MBITR is part of the AN/PRC-148 family of radios. Based on the combat-proven AN/PRC-148 MBITR, the PRC6809 Non-Type 1 MBITR provides unprecedented interoperability with existing military and commercial legacy radio systems. With software upgradeability, future operation with the next generation of communications equipment is ensured. The PRC6809 Non-Type 1 MBITR can be utilized with the full set of AN/PRC-148 system components for mounted and dismounted operations.

The Mission Module concept integrates Thales' AN/PRC-148 JEM handheld radios and Full Motion Video Receivers into an FMVR Mission Module form factor. This single device approach reduces the size and weight burden of the warfighter and provides the ability to receive Full Motion Video from ISR assets on the fly as the mission dictates. Users currently carry multiple radios to maintain access to legacy narrowband waveforms and wideband Full Motion Video downlinks from assets such as UAVs. As an 'add-on" module to the currently fielded AN/PRC-148 radios, the FMVR-MMs eliminate the need to introduce a separate and dedicated FMV ground terminal receiver and provide mission-specific extended capability to the user.

The Tactical Repeater is a suitcase configuration that houses two vehicle adapters functioning together as a repeater. It integrates AN/PRC-148 and AN/PRC-148 Vehicle Adapter designs, significantly increasing the range performance of VHF/UHF radio net operations when extended radio linkage is required or where obstacles are present that normally preclude line-of-sight communications.

The Thales TH5320/TH5325 solution is a significantly enhanced version of the widely fielded PRC6809 radio. The Modular Bulk Charger (MBC) is a bulk charger solution for charging multiple U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) batteries including Thales' family of tactical handheld radios, AN/PRC-152, AN/PRC-163, BB-2590, and others. The MBC reduces the logistic footprint and costs when charging large numbers of batteries. The MBC is designed using a modular charging cup concept to allow charging combinations of multiple DoD batteries. The charger's architecture is based on the fielded Universal Battery Charger (UBC) with the same familiar and simple user interface. Because the MBC uses the same architecture as the UBC, it provides all advanced features provided by the UBC. The MBC operates from both AC and DC with cables provided with each system. It provides eight USB ports for charging Smart Phones and Tablets.

The compact, rugged Vehicle Adapter (VA) for the combat-proven AN/PRC148 family of radios provides 20 Watts of RF power amplification across the full 30-512 MHz frequency band. The VA opens up a broad range of secure and anti-jamming voice and data applications for the most advanced handheld radio in operation. Weighing 12 pounds with the radio installed, the VA can be easily integrated into air, land, and sea-based platforms. The VA chassis provides interfaces for power sources, antennas, intercoms, and data devices. The internal battery charger recharges the Lithium-Ion battery of the radio, allowing a user to dismount the radio from the VA fully charged and immediately operational. The VA enables cable-free radio dismounting within two seconds. The Removable Control Head with LCD display provides remote control of all radio functions and includes a microphone and a connector for an audio accessory. The VIPER II Push-to-Talk was developed by Atlantic Signal at the request of several clients looking for a push-to-talk that had the capabilities to run twin dual band radios, cross-band between radios and utilize CHAT Programs among many other requirements.
